Premier Bird Hunting Tournaments of Wisconsin
Academic Scholarship
Due to the outstanding support of the PBHT's Wisconsin Championship Hunting Series, the Series and PBHT will be offering up to two academic scholarships in the amount of $500.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a WCHS member or a family member (child or grandchild) of a WCHS member, between the age of 17 and 22, and the scholarship must be applied toward full- or part-time technical college or undergraduate study. The following academic areas of study are preferred: environmental studies, veterinary medicine, or wildlife management.
Criteria
The academic scholarship(s) will be awarded on the basis of the candidate’s fondness for upland bird hunting, as well as potential for making a meaningful contribution to the environmental and/or animal care fields. Academic achievement prior to application is an indication of potential for successful study, but is not the only criteria that will be considered in awarding these scholarships. All candidates must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The scholarship will awarded upon the successful completion of one college semester.
