Double Championships
March 20-21, 2010

  • Entries/Divisions
    • A competitor may enter up to eight times total per event (four times as a handler, four times as a partner).
    • Main Event Double division
      • One entry consists of one, six-bird set/run, the chance at an additional Showdown set/run, and $50 payback.
      • A competitor may enter up to four times per field. A dog may enter up to one time per field. Field "#1" and "#2" will be available and competitors/entries will be distributed accordingly.  See the diagram pictured below. More fields may be added given interest. Please know that this may cause the Double Championships to be a two-day event, with the Main Event Showdown taking place on Sunday rather than Saturday afternoon.
    • Amateur division
      • One entry consists of one, four-bird set/run.
      • A competitor may enter up to four times per field. A dog may enter up to two times. A team must consist of two amateur competitors.

  • Pricing
    • Main Event - $200.00
    • Amateur Event - $100.00
  • Prizes/Payback
    • Main Event - Trophies will be given to the Champion and Reserve Champion Showdown winners. $50 payback is included in the entry fee. Payback will be split 65%-35%.
    • Amateur Event - Trophies will be given to the Champion and Reserve Champion winners.
  • Wisconsin Series rules will be enforced with the following exceptions.
    • The time limit per entry is 15 rather than 20 minutes.
    • Once an attempt to harvest has been made on six birds, the entry is complete. Meaning if you attempted to harvest (by shooting) six birds, you have moved your six birds from the field and hunting time is done. Note: a trapped bird is considered a shot bird.
