2007-2008 Divisions

The Wisconsin Championship Hunting Series offers the divisions listed below at each tournament.

All entry costs include the following: general run cost (club/field usage, birds, traveling bird setters, scorekeepers, ribbons/trophies, etc.), $10.00 toward Dog of the Year (for Amateur, Doubles, Puppy, and Singles only), and NBDCA sanctioning fee. Payback is OPTIONAL and will be an additional $50.00 in the Doubles and Puppy and $25.00 in the Singles. Optional payback will be available for the Doubles, Puppy, and Singles divisions only. Amateur...	Entry Description: The Amateur division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one competitor (single hunter format). Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $85.00
Doubles...	Entry Description: The Doubles division entry will consist of one 20-minute, six-bird set for two competitors. Entry Restrictions: A competitor (handler or partner) may not enter more than four times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $125.00, optional payback will cost an additional $50.00
Puppy...	Entry Description: The Puppy division entry will consist of one 20-minute, four-bird set for two competitors (doubles hunter format). A puppy will be defined as a dog two years and under as of the end of the season, specifically May 1, 2008. Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $115.00, optional payback will cost an additional $50.00
Singles...	Entry Description: The Singles division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one competitor. Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than four times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than four times per tournament/day. A competitor and dog team may not enter more than two times. An "A" and "B" field will be available and competitors/entries will be distributed accordingly. Entry Cost: $105.00, optional payback will cost an additional $25.00 NOTE: To qualify for Dog of the Year, two scores must be combined in a single tournament. One score from field "A" and one from field "B." Thus, even though you can only compete with two dogs in the Singles division, you may want to enter each dog twice in order to get your Dog of the Year scores for each dog.

Specialty Divisions

The Wisconsin Championship Hunting Series offers the divisions listed below at certain tournaments and the Invitational. We are very excited to offer these new divisions. Please help us make them a success.

Ladies...	Entry Description: The Ladies division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one female competitor (single hunter format). Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $75.00 NOTE: This division will take place at Whispering Emerald Ridge (2/16-17/2008) and the Invitational (4/4-5/2008).
Legendary 8...	Entry Description: The Legendary 8 division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one competitor and a dog age eight or older (single hunter format). A Legendary 8 dog will be defined as a dog eight years and over as of the start of the season. Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $75.00 NOTE: This division will take place at Little Creek Lodge (1/19-20/2008) and the Invitational (4/4-5/2008).
Masters...	Entry Description: The Masters division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one competitor age 50 or older (single hunter format). Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $75.00 NOTE: This division will take place in Magnolia Game Farm (1/5-6/2008) and the Invitational (4/4-5/2008).
Mixed Doubles...	Entry Description: The Mixed Doubles division entry will consist of one 20-minute, four-bird set for two competitors, one male and one female (doubles hunter format). And yes, gender will be verified. :) Entry Restrictions: A team may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $105.00 NOTE: This division will take place at: Little Creek Lodge (1/19-20/2008) and the Invitational (4/4-5/2008)
Youth...	Entry Description: The Youth division entry will consist of one 15-minute, three-bird set for one competitor age 12-18 (single hunter format). Youth hunters may be asked to show proof of hunter's safety certification. Entry Restrictions: A competitor may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. A dog may not enter more than two times per tournament/day. Entry Cost: $75.00 NOTE: This division will take place at: Wolf River (10/6-7/2007) and the Invitational (4/4-5/2008)
